Granell’s Library, the exhibition curated by Natalia Fernández, Director of the Granell Foundation, will open on March 15 at 8 pm.
The exhibition will highlight the artist’s huge personal library, created by Eugenio Granell together with his wife Amparo Segarra.

A new exhibition with Granell as the protagonist centered around the artist’s concepto of space as represented through a small selection of cosnstructions and drawings belonging to the Foundation’s funds.

Sea Tecture is an exhibition of recent work by the Galician artist Urbano Lugrís Vadillo. It forms part of the series of individual exhibitions devoted to international surrealist artists, which the Granell Foundation has been organising since its creation.

For several years the Granell Foundation has celebrated Eugenio Granell’s birthday on November 29; this year, we would also like to pay tribute on his birthday to the artist Amparo Segarra, Eugenio Granell’s wife, companion and undisputed support, with an exhibition featuring works by both of them: Memory of a Vital Encounter, which can be visited until January 13, 2008, and is curated by Monse Cea.

Gastrosofía del amor is the thought-provoking title of a Granell Foundation exhibition featuring a selection of drawings, most of which belong to a highly erotic series made in 1978, as well as a small selection of oil paintings related to this theme.

Individual exhibition by the renowned Lugo artist Jesús Otero-Yglesias.
This is a show that reinterprets, from a contemporary point of view, the poetics of the surrealist object: the restoration of the common object, lacking in value as a useful instrument or adornment, which is assigned a new value by means of the plastic procedure of the objet trouvé, rediscovered by the artist.

Ciclo: Jóvenes poéticas surrealistas.

Este ciclo está orientado a aquellas/os jóvenes creadoras/es que utilicen como eje fundamental de su obra, procedimientos, técnicas... que puedan suponer una reinterpretación del corpus estético surrealista. Así, María Chenut utiliza técnicas, procedimientos, e ideas estéticas propias de la poética surrealista como la búsqueda de lo maravilloso, el objeto encontrado, el collage..
